Hello lovely readers and welcome back to our little old Clapham Studios Blog post, today we will be talking about our recent journey to the National Portrait Gallery in London to see the Taylor Wessing Photographic Prize exhibition. We had an amazing time looking and analysing the portraits exhibited by so many talented artists such as Joey Lawrence, Nokiro Takasugi, Juergen Teller, Victoria Vaisvilante Skirutiene, Kirk Crippens and many others.
I am not going to go too much in depth with it as it would spoil the idea of going to the exhibition. I would recommend to go if you are next around Trafalgar Square in Central London. It’s always incredible and interesting to see how photographers use patterns and colours in order to get a unique result. Bellow are some of the submissions and look at the composition and techniques to see how everyone’s individual style comes out from the photo, no doubt these guys deserve to be in the National Portrait Gallery.
These are only the tip of the exhibition, to see more visit the National Portrait Gallery when you’re next in central London and fancy a cultural day.
